Gina, Cary and Rabby are still in the dungeons, and on top of everything else their light source has just failed. A not infrequent occurrence in Dungeon Master, the primordial RPG on which this sequence so brilliantly scripted by David Orme, is based.
The monster which is going to make Cary's attempt to snaffle up an easy 100 credits to help furnish them with a cool and comfortable life style on Cloud 109 seem like an impossible dream, I loosely based on two of the most dread creatures from the original Dungeon Master game, namely the horrible purple worms, which can smell you a mile off and are really tough to dispose of and the even more alarming Wizard's Eyes, which are a lot cleverer than the purple worms and can open doors by magic and spit poison at you with deadly accuracy. One hit from these babes and to quote Bobby Womack, "It's All Over Now".
To make matters worse if you stray into the wrong parts of the dungeon you step on otherwise innocuous zones which actually regenerate these ghastly creatures.
Anyway I'll hand you over to Gina, Cary and Rabby.
... and the monster.
